PAUL BERNHARD
Paul Bernhard studied with master photographer Hans Jørgen Brun (FBIPP and European Master of Prof. Photography) for 10 years. In 1999 he established his own studio and gallery in Bergen.

Equally at home in black/white and colour, he works mainly with portraits - weddings, children, reportage and other portrait-related photography.

Thorough professionalism is his trademark. All original works are produced manually on fibre paper, not only for durability but also to give each photograph its unique character.

As a photographer, Paul Bernhard seeks to communicate his own perceptions, while maintaining the integrity of the object. That he has succeeded is reflected in the fact that is now one of Norway’s most renowned portrait photographers, with a host of professional awards.

In 2002 he received the highest distinction given by the Association of Norwegian Photographers (NFF) - ”The Golden Garland” and in 2004 he was crowned ”Photographer of the Year” by NFF.
